BBQ Bills in Chiefland

Nice BBQ family restaurant, staff was friendly and the food was great. I like my ribs with the sauce cooked on them, here they are dry rubbed then you put the sauce on at the table, not my fav because you lose the FLAVOR!

Just got barbeque beef by the pound. Best ever! Good smoked flavor, perfectly moist and just the right amount of fat. It was sliced for easy fiinger food on the road. Wish we werent just traveling through, we would be eating here all the time! Don't bother with McDonalds across the street, by the pound Bar-b-q Bill's is about 20% less expensive and sooooo much more tasty!

Go here often. Always good. Get your monies worth here.

I was there while visiting family a couple years ago. My Brother and Sister-in-law took me. Was the best barbeque sauce I've ever ate. Need to bottle that stuff and sell it if you already dont. Only I can't remember which one I had.

Waitress was great. Chicken was fine. Too many french fries and many were soggy so left quite a bit in my plate. I feel like I was wasting food. The beans guess they use some kind of meat because feel funny to me, not used too that kind of taste.

This restaurant has some of the best BBQ in small town Florida. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly and offer a southern charm to the restaurant. The food is out of this world. Definitely recommend eating here with ur family and friends.

Some of the best hometown smoked meats and bbq around. Its been around for 40+ years and isn't one of your big restaurant chains. Everything is fresh daily.

Food was ok. Service was decent, kinda a long wait for taking orders and getting food. If in a pinch it's a good, easy place to get lunch with friends and family.

I recommend them for food and service, HOWEVER, it is one of the few restaurants where the cashier and servers are NOT wearing masks. Not Cool!Will not return untill they do. Very uncomfortable and waitress got very close...

Great bbq on the way to the springs. Very clean, great location and delicious food. We will definitely return on our next trip.

I read reviews about this place that said it was the best in world. I was born and raised in Jacksonville 75 years ago and I can take you to 3-4 bbq places in Jacksonville that are better. Service was so so I was not overly impressed.

Really like the decor and atmosphere. BBQ was really good but I prefer pulled meat. Price very reasonable. Service was outstanding.

Food is not bad at all. Prices are on point. They do have a salad bar. The lettuce is a little weird how it is cut. It’s basically shredded lettuce but it work. I also had the sliced pork earlier in the week and it was great!!!

First of all what bbq place doesn't sell beef BRISKET?! Second of all the coleslaw was out of a bag and not fresh made and the green beans were mush. We didn't receive our bread until the end of the meal and they do not have dessert. Definitely the worst dinner experience I've ever had. I dont know how this establishment has made 4 stars I should have went to bubba Ques.

My Favorite place to eat when we're in town. Love the food. The server's are great. I give them 5⭐️'s. And I must say that when we do stop in, we always request the same sweet waitress, Angela. Great FoodGreat Price'sGreat Service

This place was all around amazing! The food was definitely worth the price and the portions were very large! The salad bar had many options and was very tasty. All the meat was cooked very well and had a lot of flavor.

This was our 1st time here. I did give 5 stars because overall we had a nice experience and the food was delicious. I almost gave 4 stars, only because the server lacked some enthusiasm. She did not seem thrilled to be there. She was not that friendly but not necessarily rude, almost uninterested? Other servers that we came into contact with were friendly.Anyways, back to the food. Food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We ordered several pork plates, a pork sandwich and a kids hot dog. The barbecue flavor of the meat was mild and not overpowering and having the 3 choices of sauce is great, all of them are tasty choices.Atmosphere was nice and restaurant was very clean. Bathrooms were very clean as well.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area! Delicious food, and our waitress was very nice. We got the pork plate special, it was more than we could eat!

Excellent burger and onion rings at prices that can't be beat! I will stop here whenever I pass through Chiefland.

I really like to go to BBQ bills. The food is hot and fresh. Never have to ask for a refill of my drink. Believe it or not they have a really good cheesesteak!

We went for lunch and was seated quickly. There are lots of menu options to choose from. I ordered the beef sandwich on garlic toast. it was super tasty and the salad bar was delicious withlots of variety Such as, potatos, nachos, cheese and chili. Wonderful Service with smiles.☺ we will visit again.

I was on my way to Tallahassee when I saw this place on the side of the road. I’m less than 10 minutes I was back on the road with a whole plate of BBQ and THREE sides for less than $11. They even brought it out to me in my car because I had my dog with me! Great customer service and even better BBQ! Will definitely stop here again. Thank you guys!

All aspects of this place were great... the staff, the food, the price, the atmosphere. Just may become a regular there.

I recently came to Chiefland to visit family and they recommended that I go eat at BBQ Bills. The food was great but as a business owner I have to say more attention needs to be given to the appearance of the exterior which was very dirty.

Take out only....look at your order before you leave. They asked me what kind of sauce I wanted and then didn't give me any! They asked me if I wanted a bun or garlic bread, I asked for garlic bread and got a bun! Fries were old and cold as well. Pretty sad when you don't have to worry about any tables and still can't get an order right.

We love Bill's Bar-B-Q! I recommended it to a friend that was traveling North from Naples. They stopped there for dinner, said it was some of the best food he has ever had! He especially loved the fried green tomatoes. We live in Ft. Myers and can't wait to get back to Bill's. Thank you so much for the great food and extra friendly service!

In a local hotel and have ordered from here several times. They get it right! They have done a great job with their curbside service. Food is really good. We have a dog that is having some tummy trouble and they grilled plain chicken breast for him.😊

We stopped during our trip to the Panhandle I recommend the pork BBQ sandwiches with three choices for sauce all good. The salad bar has an average choices fresh, my wife and I enjoyed the iced tea, service was friendly and prompt. A very good value meal.

My husband and I were traveling through Florida, and decided to try this place for a late lunch/early dinner. We are from Texas, so of course we love BBQ! With that being said, we both agree that this place was pretty good! If I get a chance to come through the area again, I would like to try something else from their menu. 😋

Stopped in for a late afternoon snack. Bbq beef sandwich was excellent. We plan to be back for a full meal next time we are in the area.Well, we came back for a meal this time and weren't disappointed. Bbq pork was great, chocolate pie also tasty. Best of all, the service is fast. 45 minutes from sit down to paying. I think we got our food in 10 minutes from ordering.

Ordered take out - wrong order. They took the sandwiches back to the cook to correct after they blamed the cook and we got the same sandwiches back! Tasted dried out and cold! Watch your order from take outs!

So disappointed... after looking at the reviews we stopped for dinner. Inside looked like a cafeteria with no personality. My husbands chicken breast was dry and chewy, the mashed potatoes were instant and watery. My smoked turkey tasted like something from a lunch meat package in a grocery store. The best part of dinner was the yummy baked beans, Texas toast, and a friendly server.

Excellent bbq pork sandwich and sides. Friendly, prompt service. Nice dining room. Great lunch stop on our road trip.

brutally honest with all due respect, when you see the outside you're thinking and the name BBQ smoked pork and so on, as you walk inside you realize it's just a local restaurant. They gave us our table it wasn't clean it needed to be wiped down and cleaned, the carpet had food spilled on it, food was good however if you're a traveler and are tourist the name Bar-B-Q-BQ bill's is deceitful there's no Smoke Barbecue going on it's your basic neighborhood Style restaurant, so if you're looking for good barbecue don't however if you just want something to eat it well.be fine. Just not very clean.

Wonderful good, very good service. I had the pork plate. I expected pulled pork; it was shaved, but/and excellent. The success were also excellent. Less hot than I expected. Their baked beans were also special. I had key lime pie for dessert, and it was some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend them.

No frills dining. Plastic plates & paper towels. Friendly, efficient service. Very good smoked meats. Tasty baked beans & hot baked white/sweet potatoes, vinegar based Cole slaw. 3 sauce choices were good, nothing spectacular. Decent prices.

Great food, and great apple pie! They serve breakfast until 10:30 and have lunch specials until 3pm!

Good place to go for BBQ. Went with a large party 20 people. They sat us right away. Took our drink orders first . While the drinks were being served to us our food orders were taken. Wait staff were all very nice and friendly. Don't always get that with large parties.The next thing you know our food was coming out. A plus everything was nice and hot.So if you are in the area and hungry this is a good place to go.

Best bbq in the state!! A MUST visit kind of place! Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu to help with selection in case of allergies. (Salad bar for the non meat eaters. )Owner Most always on site, visible to patrons and approachable.

Love it.... Been here many times and never dissapppointed ... Naked wings and corn nuggets are hard to beat. Service is excellent and friendly make you feel like family when you come in... Its a no frills dining BBQ but I do not come for the silverware, lolGreat place excellent food and friendly atmosphere....

Get the shrimp and steak you won't regret it. But please bring back your salad bar.

I only had time for a quick to go meal. I ordered the sampler platter, that included sliced beef, sliced pork, pork ribs, and chicken. Everything was perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful. The meal comes with french fries and two sides. The fries were crisp and hot, just the way I like them. We also order baked beans and coleslaw. I haven't tried either, since we were too full after eating less than half the meat. We did eat some of the garlic bread. It was good but a little over seasoned.

My favorite place to stop while driving on 19 through Florida. It has the best BBQ! Great service. Always busy.. But quick service always!
